The Version 2 lid is definitely an improvement over the bamboo lid. However, the straw is quite thin, which makes drinking less comfortable since the water flow is restricted. A wider straw would make the experience much better and easier to drink from.
Another disappointing issue is that the lid cannot be taken apart for proper cleaning and drying. This makes it difficult to clean thoroughly and could eventually lead to mold buildup inside the lid.
I’d also like to ask customer support whether the lid is designed to come apart for proper cleaning. If so, clearer instructions would be very helpful.
It’s hard to judge it looked reasonably good on the website, however I’ve not seen the bottle. It took over a week before the bottle was made ready for dispatch. It then sat with the curriers in china for another week, before being shipped out of the country.
Customer service efforts were limited to a less than a sentence and a link to the currier. Definitely the poorest customer service I’ve seen in several years. My follow up email was ignored (I suspect as I worded it in a manner that would confuse AI and require human intervention).
I’ve been emailed saying that the bottle was delivered and another asking for a review of the bottle. However I’m now a long way into the holiday I required the bottle for. So can say if it good, poor or indifferent. However I’m sure thatinspite of being largely ignored by customer service, marketing will now start spamming my email account.
The two stars are based Super Sparrow’s assertion that the bottle has been delivered, how I can’t confirm that is really the case at this stage.
Love the bottle and the colour- but the hole inside the mouth piece was blocked so couldn’t use the straw😕
